Kishka

* 3 cups whole wheat flour
* 1 cup cooking oil
* 1/4 cup chopped onion
* 1/4 cup chopped celery
* 1/4 cup chopped carrot
* 1 ½ teaspoon salt
* ½ teaspoon pepper

Mix ingredients well. For small kishkas (suitable for 2- or 3-person cholent) divide into four parts. Wrap well in parchment paper, twisting ends securely. Cook one in cholent. Freeze the other three parts.
