Kansas City Rub

4 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp celery seeds , ground
1 tbsp kosher salt
2 tbsp paprika
1/2tbsp chili powder
1/2tbsp ground black pepper
1/4tsp ground ginger
1/4tsp dry mustard
1/8tsp ground allspice

Combine ingredients in a bowl, mix well and store in a cool area. Rub on beef brisket before cooking. (Note the amount of the last three ingredients can be raised or lowered according to your taste.) Makes enough for 1 brisket.
