Beef Asian Broccoli
1 pound lean ground beef (soy beef optional)
3 cups fresh broccoli florets
1 pack mushrooms
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon dark sesame oil if desired
Brown ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain. Add broccoli, mushrooms, water, ginger and contents of seasoning packet from soup mix; mix well. Bring to a boil. Cover, simmer 5 minutes.
Break up noodles. Add to beef mixture; cook uncovered about 5 minutes or until noodles are tender. Just before serving, stir in sesame oil. If desired, serve with soy sauce.
